Calibration Patterns

Calibration patterns replace the video output for projector alignment, color calibration, and display inspection.

On-player UI

  1. Open the debug panel.
  2. Go to Tools → Open calibration tools.
  3. Pick a pattern (grid, white/black field, grayscale steps, color bars, border).
  4. Adjust grid / gradient / border options as needed.
  5. Choose None (close) or Close pattern when finished (Esc also exits the effect).

You can drive the same patterns remotely with calibration_set, or use Remote Debug to operate the calibration tools UI from a browser.

API workflow

Use calibration_set to show a temporary pattern while aligning the projector, checking color, or verifying viewport boundaries. Set the pattern back to none to return to normal playback.

{ "cmd": "calibration_set", "params": { "pattern": "grayscale", "grayscale": { "steps": 8 } } }
{ "cmd": "calibration_set", "params": { "pattern": "none" } }

For exact pattern parameters, use the Command Reference.
